Welcome to the DT3P!

Do you have work experience or an education in either Math, Science, English, or Technology and Engineering?  Have you ever considered becoming a teacher?

The Delaware Transitions to Teaching Partnership (DT3P) is an exciting new project designed to help individuals with a background in Math, Science, English, or Technology and Engineering, who wish to become a full-time teacher for a high-need, grade 6-12, Delaware public school.  This can be accomplished through an alternate route to certification that does not require any previous education coursework.  Instead, you can you complete your course requirements while fully employed as a teacher in as little as three years!   To apply, you only need a bachelor’s degree and 30 credits in one of the content areas above.

Select the Eligibility tab above for more details. Complete the online Statement of Interest to get started.  Make sure to review the entire site for more information about applying and other requirements.

NOTE:  We have stopped accepting applications for this year.  If you are still interested in pursing a career in teaching please visit the Alternate Routes to Certification website for more information – www.artc.udel.edu.
